Processing of personal data
This privacy policy provides information on how Reality Adventures AS processes personal data. Data controller for the processing is Reality Adventures AS, orgnr 920291961.
Reality Adventures AS is a Norwegian company and processes personal data relating to customers and other persons who have contacted Reality Adventures AS.
Customers
In order to sell products and services to our customers, we need to process personal data. The legal basis for the processing is the Personal Data Act § 8 (to fulfil a contract to which the data subject is party, or to take steps at the request of the data subject prior to entering into such a contract). The data is provided to Reality Adventures AS through the booking website or in direct communication using the website, personal contact, email or by calling us.
The following data is stored in order to provide you with the service and/or to process payment: Name, phone number, email address, booking details, and dependent on the payment method also address and payment information.
For bookings, the data is used as follows:
- Name, booking details and contact info is used by our employees working with service and helpdesk in order to coordinate the bookings, answer to requests and in the rare case of extraordinary circumstances to contact you if there are problems with the booking.
- Necessary data will be stored for payment, accounting and/or invoices.
- Anonymized meta-data such as visitor numbers and statistics data voluntarily provided by the user may be used for statistical purposes.
Personal data are deleted when they are no longer necessary to process considered the purpose of the processing, and when they are no longer necessary to process in order to fulfil legal obligations or to be able to handle claims and complaints.
Marketing
Users may chose to sign up for our newsletter or other marketing methods. The legal basis for the processing is consent from the registered persons (Personal Data Act § 8(1). The user can chose to unsubscribe at any time.
Service
It is voluntary for customer to provide personal data to us when contacting us via phone, website, or e-mail. However, in order to deliver services to the customer, we need to process personal data as described in the section "Customers"
Website
Access and security logs may be generated and stored by the webserver in order to detect and prevent fraud and unauthorized access and maintaining the security of the systems. (Personal Data Act $ 8(1))
Anonymized website usage data and statistics may be internally used to improve our website and services.
Session cookies are used to secure the booking process. Other cookies are set by the google maps plugin.
